Free overnight parking at Walmart is no secret in the RVing community. Most of us have done it at least once.

RVers have "Wallydocked" for decades. But more Walmarts are banning the boondocking practice.

In 2015, a shooting at an Arizona Walmart appeared to be the death knell of Walmart camping.

RVers are debating about Walmart camping again. In August, a Minnesota mother announced she is suing Walmart for a parking lot fire that killed one of her daughters in 2019.

"The Walmart close to my home installed pipe clearance barriers so that no RV or high clearance vehicle can enter. This was done years before this incident."

"Whatever the merits of the lawsuit I think this may signal the end of Walmart's policy of allowing RVs to overnite in their parking lots. . . Why put up with the aggravation?
