University Chronicle: Surf & Stream Campground narrows down the best places to enjoy the outdoors

From the writers at University Chronicle.

Just because summer is winding down does not mean guests should scramble away from the beach. Surf & Stream Campground has narrowed down great family activities that are even better to visit this time of year. Below is a list of outdoor fun the Garden State has to offer within 30 miles of the campground.

The perfect fall fishing destination for the whole family is located in Manasquan, N.J., at Fisherman’s Cove Conservation Area. Nature lovers can enjoy the 55 acre site while fishing, walking and picnicking in the park.

Outdoor enthusiasts can also revel in an afternoon at Allaire State Park in Wall Township, N.J. Just a short 20 minute drive away from the resort, the land is well known for its historic Allaire Village, a restored 19th century iron-producing town that has become a very popular visiting spot today.
