From the writers at The Pulse.
We recently returned from one of our favorite glamping spots in Costa Rica: Finca Bellavista—the world’s first sustainable treehouse community. Whenever we retreat to these remote tree houses in southern Costa Rica, I’m reminded just how much joy it brings the soul to reconnect with nature and her many gifts.
But as much as I love waking up to a chorus of tropical birds, soaking in the dewy jungle air and hiking through crystal-clear rivers, one thing I’ve never been able to get behind is camping. I’ve tried time and time again, but something about sleeping in a tent, no showers or running water, doesn’t do it for me.
However, glamping on the other hand—or glamorous camping—is a whole different story. Stylish accommodation in remote, off-the-beaten-track destinations…what’s not to love? The ability to glamp in a treehouse is one of the reasons we keep returning to Finca Bellavista time and time again.
