Bettye Till, who hails from Pelahatchie, Miss., has been traveling with her family in her motorhome since 2010, and shares this story:
We hooked up and headed out from home heading to Hot Springs, Ark. We decided to stop at a Walmart at Dumas, Ark, after we had driven 3 1/2 hours without stopping.
We got out of the motorhome and locked it up and were walking around, when we got to the back of the motorhome and I heard a humming sound that sounded like a motor.
I stepped over the Blue Ox tow bar and I could it hear it even better. It was coming from the Jeep Liberty. I opened the door to the Jeep it was nice and cool because my dear sweet husband forgot to turn the engine off when he hooked it up.
We had driven 204 miles over 3 1/2 hours, and the car was idling with the air conditioning on.
LESSON LEARNED: The rule now is that he has to give me the keys after he hooks up the Jeep.
