Last May you may recall that we took a New England & Canadian cruise, and one of the first stops was Bar Harbor.
We opted at the time to not try to rush our short cruise port stop by touring Acadia National Park, as we knew we’d be up this way this summer with much more time on our hands.
Well, we were finally here some four months (and many adventures) later.
And boy oh boy, was it worth the wait!
First, let’s start with the campground. Getting a spot within the park for any length of time is notoriously difficult. You have to book far in advance, or snag a last minute cancellation – or take your chances on a rare first come first serve spot.
