Summary:

People looking to get work done at Freightliner Custom Chassis, will enjoy this RV park located less than five minutes from the campground. But, it's also close to the BMW factory and Cowpens National Battlefield, a Revolutionary War site from which the movie The Patriot is based.

The park offers free Wi-Fi service that clocked in at 3.24 mbs download and 0.42 mbs upload. The Verizon connection clocked in at 2.74 mbs download and 12.30 mbs upload. Guests can enjoy almost 50 DirectTV channels.

Most of the sites are 50-amp full hookup, and there are a few 30-amp water and electric sites as well as 30-amp full hookup. The campground has seven tent sites, three lodges and two camping cabins.

The park is heavily wooded, which makes it a very scenic park. I could not get my RV to level as the level mark was 4 to 5 inches past having wheels off the ground. However, I think that was confined to just one or two sites on a slope.

The campground has a moderate size campstore with food items and some RV supplies. They also offer fresh Hunt Brothers pizza from the store.

Amenities include a playground, swimming pool, simple mini-golf course, and hiking trails. Propane is sold on site, and there is a large Camp K-9 doggie playground.
