Shurhold polisher removes ‘permanent’ water spots

Permanent water spots that form on a windshield can be an eyesore during the day and a driving hazard at night. Normal window cleaners won’t remove them. But Shurhold claims it has a do-it-yourself solution that’ll have glass shining crystal-clear again.

Water spots are mineral deposits that get left behind after water dries. They adhere to glass and permanently etch it if left untreated, the company explained.

Perfect for the large panes of glass found on RVs, Shurhold’s Dual Action Polisher combined with a Magic Wool Polisher Pad makes the job easy and fast. Dab a small amount of Buff Magic onto the pad and lightly buff on slow speed. Use a microfiber towel to remove any excess residue and polish to a high sheen.

The Dual Action Polisher has a unique random orbit pattern that protects the surface from burning and swirls. In addition to buffing glass, it’s ideal for polishing and waxing. Magic Wool Pads are made of ultra-fine, bronze fibers. They resist rusting and are much softer and more durable than regular steel wool, which can scratch delicate surfaces, the release stated.

Buff Magic is a re-conditioner, de-oxidizer, restorer and metal polish. It’s safe to use on a wide range of surfaces, including glass.

Shurhold’s Dual Action Polisher is $149.99 with storage bag and tools; two Magic Wool Polisher Pads are $19.98; and Buff Magic starts at $28.98 for a 1.4 pound jar. All purchases from are eligible for Club Shine Reward Points.
