We drove to SKP Resort today with some preconceived ideas. We had been told it was more expensive than most, that it had an 8 year waiting list and recently had been told the residents were a “closed group”.
Well…..our ideas were not founded.
We parked next to the recreation hall to visit the office. Before we reached the office inside, we were greeted by Nancy. Kris was asking her questions and a guy came up and asked if we were visiting for the first time. I explained this was our stop #11 on an SKP Co-op tour.
Well, the guy was the other half of Nancy, and they invited us to hop in their car for a real tour. They have owned here for 8 years. Dick and Nancy gave us the history of many of the sites. A bare site is $9,000 which was in line with the other Co-op parks.
