Summary:

One of the most RV-friendly casinos in the United States is the Sandia Casino in Albuquerque, N.M. This is an extremely impressive and strikingly beautiful casino. Huge wooden beams grace the entrance and the stone/wood construction welcomes all who enter. When viewed from Interstate 25 the casino dominates the landscape and yet blends into the towering Sandia Mountains on the east.

Sandia Casino extends a pleasant greeting to RVers at all times of the year, but has been especially friendly during the Albuquerque Hot Air Balloon Fiesta that begins the first full weekend of October, when there may be more than 100 RVs in the upper parking lot. These sites offer wonderful, secure locations for viewing the balloons soaring aloft over the city in the morning flights and also for viewing the fireworks each evening of the Fiesta. For those of us who volunteer as crew members for one or more balloons, the casino is within easy driving distance of the crew entrance to the launch field.

In the very front of the casino is an amphitheater where there are often performances by top rated entertainers. All of these spacious and well-designed structures are surrounded by a very popular golf course. Please do not abuse the privilege. Show your appreciation by thanking the Casino staff and using the Casino services.
