RVillage brings RV social networking platform out of Beta

RVillage.com today announced that the company’s web and mobile device platforms are now out of client beta. The RVillage team has been listening to member feedback for the past year, and is working vigilantly to create a site that is easy to use and welcoming to all types of RVers, a press release from the organization stated. The Development team feels confident that the majority of bugs have been worked out and it’s time to come out of beta, the release continued.

In the past year:

  • 17,360 members have joined the site
  • Over 750 group forums have been created by members
  • 550 get­togethers have been formed
  • 375 RV parks have “claimed” their park pages, and become participating ?members of the RVillage community
  •  Dozens of new features, including a mobile experience for phones

RVillage enables RV and camping enthusiasts to locate, message, and plan events with other travelers across North America, using mapping tools combined with a modern social networking architecture. Features include user location­based mapping and route­planning, virtual “lobbies” of thousands of RV parks and campgrounds, customizable user profiles and messaging, crowdsourced sub­communities and forums, integrated event­planning and invitations, local business recommendations, marketing solutions, and much more. Membership is free and open to all RVers and RV wannabes. ?The site has been very well received by the RVing community at large, and plans to continue engaging with RVers, RV Clubs, RV Parks, and the entire RV industry for many years to come, the release continued.
