From the bloggers at RV Life.
Those of you that follow this blog on a regular basis know my first choice of campsite is in the boondocks, followed by public campgrounds, with private RV parks coming in third.
The thing about boondocking and public campgrounds is there are very seldom any boundaries to hem you in allowing you to roam freely from your campsite.
If you are a wanderlust like me then you will want to know about a new website that lists only public campgrounds across North America. UltimateCampgrounds.com describes itself as “The largest list of public campgrounds that you will find anywhere!”
Currently the site contains data on over 22,000 campgrounds. Best of all is that the campgrounds are shown on an interactive map allowing you to easily locate campgrounds along your route. Once you have found a campground convenient to your travels, a quick click of your mouse provides the details such as number and type of spaces, fees, nearest city, availability of water, sewer, etc.
