From the writers at RV Life Magazine.
A few days ago we celebrated Thanksgiving. In addition to my home, family, friends, Savior and good health I am thankful for my RV, the opportunity to boondock across the western United States and current technology that allow my wife and I to do so comfortably and confidently.
When you really sit and think about it, us RVing boondockers are a lucky bunch and should be very grateful. Let’s take a look:
- I am thankful for my RV. A RV is literally a rolling home on wheels. They allow us to go where we want and when we want with all the comforts of home. We can shower with hot water, cook on a stove or in an oven, sleep on a full size mattress, use a flush toilet within the confines of a heated RV, enjoy our favorite beverage over ice compliments of our RV refrigerator and eat meals at a dining table just like home. Best of all, we can enjoy all of these comforts while camped in the middle of nowhere.
- I am thankful to live in the western states of the freest country in the world where there are hundreds of thousands of acres to camp for free in some of the most scenic places imaginable.
- I am thankful for my job which allows my wife and I to work from the road for extended periods of time and the technology listed below that allows us to do so.
