RV Education 101 videos surpass 4 million views

HARRELLS, N.C. — RV Education 101, a video production and RV information company, announced today it’s YouTube channel recently surpassed 4 million video views.

“Several years ago we started posting short informative videos to our RV Education 101 YouTube channel as a venue for RV owners and enthusiasts to access free educational material pertaining to RVs,” said owner Mark Polk. “Little did I know at the time video would become so prevalent. It has been interesting watching the evolution of video in the information age.

“We started in the RV video business when folks still had VCRs and grew our business as it transitioned to DVDs,” he explained. “Several years ago we started to focus our business model on video download technology and now can see that transition taking place. In the past two years, our instant video download sales increased from 10 percent to over 25 percent of our total video sales business, and we expect those percentages to increase dramatically in the near future.”

The RV Education 101 YouTube channel currently offers 230 RV videos, all produced in-house, with over 14,000 subscribers. RV Education 101s RV training library consists of DVDs, books, e-books and the largest digital RV training resource on the Internet.

“Streamed and download video technology allows for fast delivery, providing the consumer with the information they want right at their fingertips,” said Dawn Polk, co-owner and sales and marketing director.
