Roadtreking: Fire extinguishers recalled

One of the most popular fire extinguishers used in many RVsand widely sold to consumers throughout North America at big box stores like Home Depot and Walmart is being recalled by by the manufacturer because of a potentially faulty valve.

There are 31 models of Kidde plastic valve disposable fire extinguishers being recalled after 11 reports of the extinguishers failing to work. They have Zytel black plastic valves, according to the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission.
