This promises to be quite the week. About 50 Roadtreking regulars have gathered in Canada’s Bruce Peninsula National Park this week for five days of hiking and exploring some of North America’s most pristine wilderness.
We’re in Northern Ontario near the town of Tobermory, a small community located at the northern tip of the Bruce Peninsula, which juts out into Lake Huron about 150 miles north of Toronto.Tobermory is known as the “fresh water SCUBA diving capital of the world” because of the numerous shipwrecks that lie in the surrounding waters, especially in Fathom Five National Marine Park, which is is in the waters around us.
