Recipe of the Week: Sausage and veggie bake

Each week, Let’s RV will publish one recipe each week from the RV Centennial Cookbook authored by Evada Cooper.

The book features a collection of recipes submitted by RVers themselves. The company is providing the recipes in hopes of encouraging RVers to submit more recipes to be included in a new edition expected to be published soon.

This week’s recipe is for sausage and veggie bake. It was submitted by Yvonne Baker from College Station, Texas. She says her grandparents passed their love of RVing to her and her siblings, and now it has been passed to their grandchildren.

Ingredients:

  • 1 or 2 sausages
  • 1 stalk of broccoli
  • 1 stalk of cauliflower
  • 1 carrot
  • aluminum foil

Instructions:

Place all ingredients onto a piece of foil and wrap it up tightly. Leave two handles on the ends to pick it up with. Place in coals of campfire and leave for 5-10 minutes until everything is cooked.
