Hillard, Fla., resident, Rod Dickson, who has been RVing in his fifth wheel since 1985, shares his most embarrassing moment:
I pulled our huge 37-foot fifth wheel out of the garage with the four steps down. The strong 4-inch steel post made a mess of the steps. It took hours with a hammer to straighten them out enough to get them to fit back in the hole.
It was a long trip from Florida to Indiana to get the steps replaced and an expensive lesson to check before driving.
LESSON LEARNED: I do a walk around the trailer now before pulling out of the garage.
