From the writers at Oregon Live.
The nickname says it all for southern Oregon’s Curry County: Wild Rivers Coast.
Curry County has the rivers, its coastline is right up there with the most scenic in the world and its low population, 22,300 residents, helps keep the place wild.
Nor does Curry County have a high-speed highway connection to cities of western Oregon’s interior valleys, which keeps beaches from being an easy day trip except from other coastal cities.
Here we present 10 places and things to be wild about in Curry County, listed geographically from north to south. Visitors should plan at least a week to get the full Curry County sampler.
