From the bloggers at Tiny House Giant Journey.
Jenna Spesard and Guillaume Dutilh wanted to live and travel on their own terms. So they saved up some money, built a tiny house on wheels and hit the road with their dog, Salies.
The couple of two-and-a-half years have now been traveling around the US for six months, funding their nomadic lifestyle through photography and writing.
They have traveled 16,000 kilometers, from Los Angeles to New Mexico and Nova Scotia in Canada, and plan to keep going until they’ve done a year. Their unusual home and transportation has found itself on coastal drives, in mountains and stuck in traffic in downtown Manhattan.
“When someone sees the house, it puts a smile on their face,” Guillaume told news.com.au during the drive from Arizona to Las Vegas. “They realize there are other ways of living. When we’re on the freeway, and we’re usually going quite slow, we get a lot of thumbs up as people pass.”
