Mt. View RV Park – Baker City, Ore.

This little overnight park in just a few minutes of I-84 in Baker, Ore. The town is a great place to learn about the Oregon Trail at the best Oregon Trail Interview Center we have been to. People can also visit the small western town of Sumpter, an Old West mining town, and explore Hells Canyon.

The area still has its Old West names and cattle drives sometimes stop traffic. The park buildings are decorated with barn wood. Mountain View RV Park has a little store, laundry, and playground. The roads are tight, but the pull-through sites were long enough for a 40 footer. We plan to stay there again.
