Monty’s Musings: New York’s Finger Lakes Wine Country

From the bloggers at Monty’s Musings.

RV travel to visit wineries is a delicious way to explore the joys of autumn. One wine region that offers RVers abundant opportunities to taste, camp and sightsee your way through fall is New York’s Finger Lakes Wine Country. No matter if you go for a long weekend or a leisurely, two-week trip, you’re going to come home with delectable wines and happy memories to savor through the holidays.

With the fall foliage ready to stun your senses and more than one hundred wineries to please your palate, this is a trip you don’t want to miss. Point your GPS toward Lakes Seneca, Keuka and Cayuga in Upstate NY (about four hours east of Erie, PA on I-90 or four hours north of the Kingston/Scranton area via I-81). That’s where you’ll find the majority of Finger Lakes wineries and some mighty spectacular scenery, year-round.   Finger Lakes NY wine country
