KSDK: This 90-year-old woman with cancer chose to travel America

Ninety-year-old Norma may have cancer, but she’s no cancer patient. When the Northern Michigan resident found out she had uterine cancer, she told the doctor, “I’m 90-years-old, I’m hitting the road.” Turning down any treatment, she decided to pack into an RV with her family and take off on adventures across America, documenting the trip on a Facebook page called Driving Miss Norma along the way.

For the last six months, the family has been having a whale of a time exploring the lush beauty of this country’s national parks, drinking beer in the great outdoors, boogieing down in New Orleans, going dolphin watching, and more. She even took part in a hot air balloon ride over Central Florida.
