Albuquerque is getting a new addition to Civic Plaza to give entrepreneurs a chance to show off their cooking skills.
The city said an Airstream trailer is being fully restored, including a top of the line kitchen. The city will be inviting local chefs and restaurants to use the trailer to showcase their talents at city events.
“It always takes that one opportunity for people to show the skill sets and the abilities they’ve got and I tell you there are some great chefs in this town, we just want to give them a chance,” said Mayor Richard Berry.
The Mayor said it can help entrepreneurs build local support while providing a variety of food for people to try.
