From the bloggers at Gypsy Journal RV.
Since we didn’t have any plans or anything on our calendar, we treated ourselves by sleeping in yesterday morning. The fact that it got down into the 30s overnight was added incentive to stay snuggled under the covers once we woke up. Like we needed an incentive. Not!
Eventually we did get up, and after logging onto the internet to see who we are at war with this week and checking email, we decided to drive the 10 miles back to Paso Robles to check out the Pioneer Museum, which we had spotted when we came in on Highway 101 the day before.
As we were leaving the Elks lodge campground, longtime reader Jim O’Briant introduced himself. Jim runs the Overnight RV Parking website, and while we have exchanged email many times over the years, this was our first time to meet in person. He’s here with a group of friends from the Gilroy Elks Lodge for a few days, and I’m sure we’ll get together to visit at some point.
