Before I do anything else today, I want to wish our good friend Al Hesselbart happy birthday. We first met Al way back when we had only been on the road a few months. At that time he was the historian for the RV Museum and we stopped in to visit and do a story on the museum. Al bent over backwards to help us and make us feel welcome.
Since then we have spent a lot of time together at RV rallies, as instructors at Life on Wheels, and just hanging out whenever we’re in the same area. Al is a walking, talking encyclopedia of the history of the RV industry and I’m always amazed at the depth of his knowledge. We love you, Al, and we are proud to call you our friend.
For some reason our Winnebago Ultimate Advantage motorhome seems to hate having hubcaps on the rear wheels. I can’t tell you how many of them we’ve lost over the years, but it’s been too darned many. And since they cost about $70 apiece from Spartan, I was really tired of replacing the dumb things
