I was sniveling because it was down in the upper 30s at night on the Central Coast, so I left and went to a place where it was even colder! What’s wrong with this picture?
Yesterday morning we said our farewells to our friends Tom and Barbara Westerfield and pulled out of the Atascadero, California Elks lodge campground at 10:30 a.m. We had a lot of fun hanging out with Tom and Barbara and look forward to seeing them again somewhere down the road.
We drove 10 miles north on US Highway 101 back to Paso Robles where we picked up State Route 46 and followed it east 63 miles to Interstate 5. Along the way we passed an area with a lot of oil or gas wells, I’m not sure which.
