College towns are unique, full of school spirit and definitely worth packing up the RV and seeing what makes these towns special. Ann Arbor, Mich.
Thirty five miles west of Detroit you will find the home of the Wolverines. Ann Arbor is beautiful year ‘round and it didn’t get its “Tree Town” nickname for nothing. This college town is home to more than 50,00 trees and 157 municipal parks. In fact, we suggest visiting Nichols Aboretum where you can see native and exotic trees and shrubs masterfully crafted into a naturalistic landscape. And if you get tired of all that fresh air being pumped out of the trees, you can stop by the Hands-On Museum for some learning fun, a great spot for the kids!
