The detailed investigation of the roof, electrical connections, and the underneath chassis answered several questions about the suitability of the Travato to its anticipated use.
One particular interest is in finding the perfect adventure RV for year round use with dogs in the Rocky Mountains where people often travel on unimproved roads and in sub-freezing temperatures. The low batteries and the exposed water hose is particularly concerning. It looks like there is only about an 8 inch clearance.
As for the bike problem, travel bikes fold up and look like they will fit nicely under the bed without the need for the outside bike rack.
