After a blissful week in Gunnison, it was time for us to move on. Next stop: Littleton, Colorado.
Urban sprawl has it’s advantages. It allowed us to be close to Steve’s brother and his family, we had a place to ship amazon packages to, and we had access to chains stores like Best Buy and Home Depot where we could pick up a few bits and bobs we needed. However, urban sprawl isn’t all gum drops and roses.
Densely populated areas also mean traffic, crowded hiking an mountain biking trails, and finding places to stay with your RV is harder–especially on weekends. Also, most City’s in the Denver area don’t allow overnight parking so Walmart and Cabela’s are not an option. I’m sure it keeps the place classy, but it meant there was no grace for us if we couldn’t work a place to stay for the weekend.
