Escapees set date for 2015 WARE rally

LIVINGSTON, Texas — The Escapees Club today announced its 2015 Western Area Rally for Escapees (WARE) rally will take place April 12 to 16 at the Yuba-Sutter Fairgrounds in Yuba City, Calif.

Now into its fourth year, WARE directors Darold and Kathy Perry said they are excited about bringing new elements and festivities to the event. The venue has beautifully manicured lawn areas with shade trees, and two gates lead into and out of the grounds, making it easy for RV mobility, they noted.

Three large buildings will house activities, dinners and seminars for rally attendees.

“This rally promises a variety of activities to keep attendees busy and informed,” said Darold Perry. “You will find seminars on RV tire safety, fire safety and prevention, geocaching and RVing with pets. Adventure Caravans, an Escapees favorite, will hold two seminars on group RV touring.”

Other favorite activities will include line dancing, bean bag baseball and a variety of craft classes. A classic car show, pet parade and ice cream social are also scheduled.

Several Escapees chapters are donating their services by serving coffee, donuts and a breakfast, and the rally dinner will feature Polynesian food and entertainment.

“We invite you to join in the spirit of the theme by dressing Polynesian style,” said Kathy Perry.

There are 200 water and electric sites, as well as boondocking and handicapped RV areas.
