Do It Yourself RV: 5 meals with 5 ingredients or less

When you’re out camping or RVing, there’s not always a wide selection of ingredients to choose from to create the perfect meal.

And while there are a lot of great recipes out there that require too many foods to pack, there are several other meals you can enjoy that are actually quite minimal!

Next time you’re hungry while out on a trip and only have a little bit of room in your cooler, here are some delectable concoctions you can make from 5 ingredients or less:

1. Southwest Salad

What you’ll need:

  • Southwest Salad package
  • Corn
  • Black Beans
  • Shredded Cheddar Cheese
  • Diced tomatoes

Directions: Begin by heating up the corn and black beans. Then open the salad package and remove the toppings, add the dressing inside the bag, reseal and shake to distribute. After everything is combined, it can be served and topped with corn, black beans, shredded cheese, tomatoes and remaining toppings from the kit which usually includes tortilla strips and a creamy cilantro dressing or sour cream.
