Camping at Bishop and beyond headed north on U.S. Highway 395, there are dozens of interesting side trips or stops you may want to consider. Bishop is the largest city within the Owens Valley. This is a good place to stock up on supplies when headed north.

The Mammoth and June Lake areas offer great camping or even a side trip for a day of fishing or hiking. Mono Lake has a rich history and is a major environmental area for migrating birds.
