Summary:

Cherry Creek State Park was the first Colorado State Park that we stayed at and we were impressed. The park is so much more than camping and our two-week-stay flew by so quickly. The fall colors are just breathtaking and the campground surroundings won’t leave you disappointed. If you are looking to spend time on the east side of Denver and its suburbs, Cherry Creek State Park is a great choice.
