I told you all about my encounter with the mountain lion in my last post and this time I want to tell you my thoughts about it a few days after it happened.

No one but my mother wanted anything to do with me!
One thing that remains true about me is that I have very little connection with my emotions. The old saying “Still water runs deep.” very much applies to me. I try to avoid feeling anything, but when I do feel, it’s intense. That worked in my favor in this instance because I easily kept a level head through the whole time I was in contact with the lion and then, for the first several hours, my emotions were still calm—eerily calm.
