Watson Wander: Falling leaves and family fun in Delaware


(Nov. 16, 2016) -- Our timing has been off for optimum fall foliage viewing this year. We left Vermont just as the leaves were starting to turn, saw only a bit of color on the Cape and in Rhode Island, and then by the time we got to Connecticut it was more like winter than fall. I had big plans for that week, and I mean grandma-gone-wild big…Joni Mitchell cranked 24/7, sleepovers with the grandkids, too many cocktails with Mackenzie, eating foods I never get to eat because James doesn’t like them, etc.

Gypsy Journal RV: The end of an era


(Nov. 16, 2016) -- Yesterday we moved the Winnebago to the storage area here at our little manufactured home community, and Terry and I both found ourselves getting misty eyed. Even though we’ve been living in our house for almost three weeks now, I think storing the motorhome finally made it hit home to us that after over 17 years of wandering the country with no home base, we are not fulltime RVers anymore.
