If your baby recently became mobile, you fully understand the importance of baby proofing. Creating a safe environment keeps the baby safe and also gives parents peace of mind, allowing them to relax a little. RVs in general are fairly baby proof with latches on cabinets and secured furniture. But if your baby is anything like my baby, there are still plenty of ways that they can get into trouble. Taking the time to further baby proof your RV can prevent accidents and make your trip more enjoyable for everyone.
Many of the standard baby proofing items that are used in homes are also compatible with RVs. For example, the standard outlet plug covers like these would also fit the outlets in an RV. Since many of the items that you use to baby proof your home can also be used in your RV, it should be relatively easy to create a safe environment inside the RV. Take the time to look around the interior of your RV and make a note of potential hazards. Some of the hazards in your home may not be present in your RV, and vice versa.
