Boulder Power introduces Powertap 2000 generator

Boulder Power Technologies offers the PowerTap 2000 for indoor and outdoor portable energy.

The PowerTap 2000 features one on-switch, 2000-watt power capacity and weighs 100 pounds. The recharge time is less than 90 minutes. The PowerTap 2000 is two feet tall by four feet in length with an AC max output motor watts of 4,000 watts and a max-rated VAC amperage of 18 amps.

According to a release from the company, the system can be charged from a standard home electrical outlet and supports green initiatives while improving performance.

The PowerTap 2000 can be used in construction, household, lawn/garden and recreation settings, or for events, such as tailgating, school events and camping.

Average application durations include:

  • Standard refrigerator: 20 hours
  • Table saw cutting: 1,500 cuts
  • Water sump pump: 8 hours
  • LED lighting: 10 hours
  • Handheld nail gun: 3,500 nails
  • PA system: 5-10 hours
  • Baseball machine: 8-15 hours

The PowerTap 2000 has a manufacturer’s suggested retail price of $4,000.
