Aluminarium: Top 10 campgrounds of 2015

From the bloggers at Aluminarium.

Arizona, Colorado, California and New Mexico topped our charts this year with some fantastic camping.

10. Sunset Campground – Kings Canyon National Park

Sunset Campground was a great base of operations for visiting Kings Canyon and Sequoia National Park. There aren’t any hookups, so we were lucky to get a spot with full sun. Cost: $18/night

9. Walnut Canyon – Flagstaff, Ariz.

There are a variety of spots to choose from at Walnut Canyon. Our second was much more scenic than our first, and overall, it’s convenient to Flagstaff and Walnut Canyon National Monument. Cost: $0/night

8. Indian Bread Rocks – Bowie, Ariz.

We really enjoyed this spot between Tucson and Demming, NM. Our site was private and surrounded by boulders. Cost: $0
