We spent our last week in Texas camping at Galveston Island State Park. Our neighbors were all kind enough to leave this morning so I could take a photo of our campsite without it looking really crowded and cramped.
The campsites here aren’t the best we’ve seen in Texas State Parks (try Goose Island or McKinney Falls), however, the park redeems itself with a fantastic beach of hard-packed sand which we enjoyed walking on twice daily.
