Aluminarium: Black Canyon of the Gunnison

From the bloggers at Aluminarium.

Saturday, after our chores, we went to Black Canyon of the Gunnison National Park.

It was late in the day, so our experience of the park was driving to all the view points.

We stayed at the South Rim Campground for the night which was $7.50 with the National Parks Access Pass.

In the morning we drove down to the bottom of the Canyon to check out the East Portal Campground. It was an 18% grade to get there and very scenic, but for small rigs and tents only.
