Aluminarium: Beach combing

After dinner we walked down to the beach for a little exercise and beach combing.

We saw a bunch of interesting things on the beach, in particular little jellies.

Brian thought they were the velella vellella that he read about on Jim & Gayle’s blog, but they don’t have a cellophane feel, they’re really jelly-like and once you wipe off the sand, they’re totally clear.
