12 little-known facts about Airstream campers

JACKSON CENTER, Ohio — The Huffington Post put together a list of 12 little-known facts about Airstream campers.

At the top of the list, Huffington Post noted, is the original Airstreams were teardrop shaped and colored to match the pastel cars of the ’50s.

They were also made out of Masonite, a type of hardboard, The Huffington Post explained. The trailers, originally, did not have bathrooms in them. Instead, campers would use a bedpan.
